Well hello, my dear reader, I normally like summaries like this if the form of a list. But it has been brought to my attention that some people out there think listing things appears to impart the impression that I have no personality, despite the fact that my lists clearly say otherwise. And if you don't agree with circular logic, than circular logic can't agree with you, everyone knows this!

And as for myself, I'm a fairly open person, I'll indulge in conversation with just about anyone if it's enjoyable. People know me as an easily amused, quick to smile individual who enjoys good old fashion games you can play around a table with folk, obscure little movies that few people have ever herd of, and foods that eaten with fingers or forks depending on one's mood - especially if it's spicy.

I've got a mind that's prone to ponder, introspective by nature, and easily lost in the moment. I've always liked Mark Twain's musing "I never to let my schooling interfere with my education", as you might have guessed I'm a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to making myself into a better person (yep, I'm one of those folks with a 'to read' list twenty books long). I tend to shy away from constricting schedules if possible, part because I always like to have breathing room for when things don't go according to plan, and part because it's always nice to be able to stop for a garage sale or farmers market! For if it's one thing I learned in this life it's that there are few things on this earth more divine than freshly cooked kettle corn - and no, that microwave stuff doesn't cut it...

In many ways I am a typical midwestern guy. Like most of generation "x-wing" I enjoy Starwars and other sci-fi shows/movies (though I think that Firefly and the Serenity movie were superior in many ways. I also like beer (good micro-brews anyway), rock music, pizza, and girls. Unlike many of my peers, I greatly enjoy classical music (mainly baroque), wines of all kinds (but especially chiante and clear cool sake), and spicy food (most especially Mexican, Thai, and Pakistani). My tastes tend to run to extremes. In the last year or two I have discovered that I love sushi; however, one of my favorite meals is two apples, half a sweet onion, and a small brick of aged cheddar (this is good with water, but much better with wine).

Overall I am typically shy at first, but open up pretty quickly to people who are good-natured and like to have fun.

I was born and raised in Chicago. Well was born in Chicago but spent most of my life being raised in the suburbs, specifically Skokie. I say born and raised in Chicago because well who the heck knows where Skokie is outside of people who actually live here.

Any who energy is my thing. I love the outdoors as much as the indoors. There's nothing like hiking outdoors in the Spring and Summer (which btw I want to go on a European backpacking trip). I enjoy adventure!! I've never broken a bone, but I've managed to tear my rotator cuff.

I definitely love the Lake, the museums, and the beach. I enjoy rollercoasters and I would love to go skydiving one day. I also enjoy sitting inside and watching movies or even going to see a movie.

I have one animal. His name is Mushu. Well actually there is a bunny that likes to come into my yard every night. I call him Thumper. Yeah both are Disney related, but hey I'm part Asian so I can get away with Mushu (maybe it's short for Mushu pork you never know). And as for Thumper well that's just an awesome name for a rabbit. Make's it kind of the Rambo of the Rabbit world.

I recently graduated college from the University of Illinois in engineering and am finally back home. Yes I am kind of a nerd at time but my major is my God given passion. I only have one life so I'm trying to live it to the fullest. I've also traveled a lot and love traveling to new places and having new experiences. I love to laugh a lot!! I enjoy talking and would do it all day and all night if I had the opportunity.

I am 21 years old, and am looking for that special someone to share my life with. I enjoy movies, music, driving, cuddling/kissing, art, rain, thunderstorms, good food, wine/any good alcohol...anything else, just ask!

I am a marketing executive in the education management field. I like my job, it pays well - but what I like most about my profession is to be involved in helping people achieve their educational dreams. While my job isn't my life, literacy, as a cause, is important to me. OK, someone stop me from getting carried away with my idealism and bring me back to realism..

A dinner with me would feel like being in a small, intimate restaurant where the chef comes out to meet you. And even sits down to eat with you and raises a toast. And yes, I do take requests in the kitchen!

I also enjoy being active -- Regardless of the weather, I'm an avid tennis fan and am prone to hitting a few balls from time to time. I've made it a habit to work out 4-5 days/week. Though treadmills are a necessary evil, I'm a fan of hitting the weights.

I'm back in Chicago feeling like the new kid in town. I did my undergrad in Milwaukee and then moved to San Francisco for a while to intern for a communications company.
This time of my life is kind of up in the air as I'm still unsure of what I want to do and where I want to be.

It would be great to meet someone who is traveled and already done with their undergraduate degree. I don't care where you're at in your career but I'm not looking to meet anyone still living at home with the parents. Sorry but that seems to include most the guys on this site..just saying! Looking for someone who knows how to have a fun time and enjoys going out and meeting new people and trying different things. That said I like to stay in too and would love a partner to watch movies and goof around with.
